I can already hear the future discourse within the fandom over whether people "got into hs" by reading the comic vs watching the series... wow, I can't wait for that arc to start :))

This whole thing has me conflicted. Cool that it's happening, I guess, sure... But jeez, if I wanted to "watch" hs I'd just stick with Let's Read Homestuck. Not sure how I feel about the whole 'trying to get helluva boss/hazbin hotel fans into hs' thing that is seemingly happening. More people getting into Homestuck isn't bad per se, but I have been enjoying the somewhat insular, out-of-the-spotlight community that's been going on for a while.

I am tent8vely excited. If I can be so honest, mostly because Toby is wworking on another Homestuck thing. I kind of figured he had wwashed his hands of it, but I'm not entirely sure wwhat gave me that impression...

I think you see it a lot in circles that love Toby's stuff but either find HS old hat or have absorbed the very surface level "unspeakable media" impression of it, because I guess it's tempting to believe your fave would definitely be ashamed of his days working on something 'cringe'. But nah, Toby continues contributing stuff to HS projects and has spoken positively about it even still in recent years, so, I think people are just inventing lore for him lol.
