FORUM RULES

By using the Fruity Rumpus Asshole Factory Forum, we expect you to follow the following rules and expectations of conduct.

Rules:
  • No impersonating real people.
  • No bigoted language or targeted slurs.
  • Respect the privacy of community figures, fellow users, and yourself.
  • No transphobia. Everyone has pronouns under their name, there are no excuses. You only get one warning.
  • Do not take credit for another person’s artwork.
  • If approached by a moderator about your behavior, behave respectfully.
  • Do not link or upload images with explicit content outside of explicitly stated exceptions.
  • No sharing links to external chatrooms (Discord, Telegram), unless given permission by a subforum ruleset or moderator. Sharing Discord IDs on your profile is fine.
  • Do not attempt to technically exploit the website.
Code of Conduct
  • If you post someone’s artwork, credit them!
  • Despite the name, please don’t be an asshole.
  • Disagreements are fine, but try and keep arguments civil.
  • Remember mods can't see everything - if someone breaks the rules, report them!
  • Try to keep threads on-topic. If you want to change the topic, make a new thread!
  • Please avoid duplicate threads where possible.
  • Threads are collaborative. Don’t make anything that no one else can contribute to.
  • Read the rules of individual Sub-Forums before in posting there.
  • Don’t make low-effort posts, or spam the forums.
  • Keep spoilers clearly marked, or in spoiler threads.
  • Explicitly NSFW text is highly discouraged, except for in designated areas. Please keep the comfort of your fellow users in mind.
  • Be mindful when discussing dark and explicit subjects. Many fanworks, and Homestuck proper, approach these but giving proper warning and due respect is imporant.
  • Depictions of romantic/sexual relationships between adults and children are strictly prohibited, as are "discussions" of the matter that romanticize it or present it positively or in a manner intended to titillate. This is obviously an extremely delicate topic that is often mishandled, and is thus subject to harsher moderative judgement. Considerate, respectful discussion of these themes as they appear in the work is allowed, granted all participants are clearly and appropriately forewarned, but we are operating on the "we know it when we see it" rule, here.
  • We are imminently going to be implementing 18+ age-gated threads and the ability to hide/spoiler text; we expect those features to be used during discussions on dark or sensitive subjects so as to give any forum participants ample warning about if/when such topics are going to be broached.
