I agree with most of the Gioheads here. He was clearly mistreated (given that his version of events is correct) but, like, FUCK man. He is just completely unable to keep his foot out of his mouth.

oh actually i was wrong gio did sign an NDA but he didn't sign the license which is like...well hard to get a license without signing one.

i loathe speculation is a singularly hysterical thing to say when one of ur most popular articles that you've built ur reputation as a 'journalist' on opens with:

He publishes ultra detailed receipts with identifiable information that didn't need to be published to get the point across then acts like it was inevitable that unrelated parties are getting damaged as collateral. That ain't whistleblowing, that's yellow journalism.
The traffic on his site is likely highest than it's been since the Sarah Z vid.

gio needs pages and pages of "speculation" to make hussie seem like a really really scary monster who totally gives domestic abuser vibes and um uh you know the scorpion and the frog yeah the scorpion and im the poor little frog just trying to give a ride to this guy (uh um i mean they?) but they HATE ME and they HATE YOU TOO~~~ because otherwise the premise of "artist and writer i've said crazy shit about in the past is requiring me to walk it back if i want to keep my PERSONAL BRAND around distributing THEIR WORK" falls a little flat.

Love the consistent "Hussie's friends call him him! hussie uses any pronouns!" Like yeah and I don;t have a pronoun preference but if someone wrote a long ass post about me with this tone and only used she/her for me it would come off like they were trying to paint me as either "evil cisgender karen" or "evil misandrist cis lesbian"
