why is everything always so wonderful

it works fine. i'm happy it'll all be availabe (on the internet) again. i don't have much to say otherwise.

personally i was hoping they'd have the other 3 adventures up and ready already and homestuck would be the big reserialization. kinda disappointing they don't. happy that they're using ruffle to preserve all the flashes. it's also funny to see that the urls are the mspa style again. get fucked, viz.

otherwise, i don't know what to really say about it. it's homestuck, online, again! it's gonna take longer, and I can already read it though UHC... but i mean, I guess this is a good reason as any to reread homestuck entirely (haven't reread it yet). I wonder if they'll include the epilogues and snapchats like UHC does since those are... canon.

(seeing Beyond Canon be referred to as the OFFICIAL continuation almost gave me a conniption fit. Is it dubiously canon or isn't it? Make up your god damn minds already!!!)

Looking forward to the exclusive content today, hoping that that will all eventually be on the site as well rather than just the discord. Also hoping for commentary from Hussie to be added at some point, even if it's just the commentary from the topataco/viz books again lol

Agree with Blueberry Lunascratch, Discord is awful for archival purposes so I hope that the exclusive content also eventually comes onto the main site too. Also a bit disappointed the pages seem to default to the retconned versions (we can see the John arm on page 001982) as this would have been a great opportunity to reenact the Retcon for new readers. Aside from that no real complaints, excited to see the comic be continually rereleased.

Just wondering, when/where was this announced? I just saw people talking about it on tumblr (and about how the page is already down), but I don't remember reading any news/posts about this. I'd expect something on the beyondcanon website or something. Was it announced on discord? Bc i'm not there and don't plan to be.

@ParadoxSpace it was announced on the homestuck twitter and bluesky accounts about two-ish weeks and some change ago, the actual launch of the rerelease was also announced today on those accounts

I do love that we are getting an official way to read Homestuck, I wonder if any of the censored edits are gonna be togglable or not? Excited to give it a reread as the website updates though :D

My computer rescales at 125% so images with image-rendering:pixellated look a little funky on my machine and some others. I'm fine with the style the way it is
