My instinct is Tenna is Light coded bc of his need to be watched. Could have an argument for Passive or Active class, he wants to bring joy to others, but also his need to be watched is, kinda self centered. Page of Light, perhaps?

ok so ly'lac is probably doom-bound but i think she's going to be a maid, since she mentions oracle stuff with aa, except that she *isn't* an oracle, which brings to mind seers and mages. if aa isn't an oracle, she may be a seer or mage. if ly'lac is doom-bound then we could see a swap happening with a potential maid of doom and potential mage of time. this is all just conjecture though, so i'm not sure.

Ly'lac being a Doom player is definitely a major possibility, though I'm not particularly sure yet. The ~Ath book, "black thumb," visions of certain failure, themes of destruction, and general "doomer" mentality definitely raises a bunch of flags for her being Doom. But, there are other possibilities. Most of the tells implying that they could be a sign of being a Time player, as they have the same relation to death and fate as Doom does. Also, the idea of a "ticking time bomb" does relate more to time than doom on paper. However, this is less likely considering that they would break the 'time players are red' tradition if true.

There's also the possibility that they're a destructive space player; as you may have noticed, they are LITTERED with Jade parallels. But it's less likely they are jade and more like their struggling to be Jade. Jade could make extremely advanced tech, and they can only make primitive tech. Jade grew all the plants one could ever desire, Ly'lac tries and fails. Jade actually listened to the 'shit on your desk' command, Ly'lac did but couldn't show it on-screen. And she's known about her destiny since childhood, but has seen it as something weighing her down instead of something which could pan out for her. A lot of these are traits which can be vaguely tied to space as well as Jade. So, I think it's plausible that Ly'lac is a space player who's gonna struggle with her aspect in the same way Jade does.

(And of course, just to make my bias clear: my doubt of DoomLac stems from me strongly believing in the theory that the omega kids will use the humans' unused classpects. If any of them get a classpect that shows this being not the case, or repeat classpects are confirmed, then I'll be on-board with Doom Ly'lac.)

Ok, I feel like I'm missing something here.

Are we talking about like Homestuck^2 here? Or some other adventure altogether because I just finished re-watching Homestuck, and decided to jump on the forums when I received the notification about its recertification (<= not my original word, but kept it because funny), so now I'm a tad bit puzzled.

calling it now, the 6 shrub players will be doom (ly'lac), mind, rage, blood, and of course time and space. this is the perfect opportunity for the writers to finally explore and elaborate upon the aspects that were unused in the human sessions and were never fully explored or explained in homestuck. we can finally officially see some cool blood and doom powers in use!!!

And what y'all think is Susie? Hope player, obviously, but what about her class? Witch, maybe? Since she tends to "break" conventions.

sorry if i’m a little off-topic relative to the rest of the thread, but i felt the need to post this here 👀... i’ve been working on a big ol’ spreadsheet of classpect component definitions that i think can help with character creation or analysis. super duper peer-reviewed. the original version is real damn old and had way more fanon than it currently does, but i figured i’d keep the notable stuff from when it used to be open for everyone’s editing

i think itd be cool if dirk trying to shove the delta kids into roles that dont fit led to their classpects not matching up our first impressions of them.

oh susie knight of hope for sure. she puts up a front of this tough mean girl act, but is just a really nice girl. she is constantly trying to like, *prove* that everything in the dark worlds is *real*. and if rage is tearing down falsehoods like that, then. she's hope. she is holding a white pen called "hope". if you believe in something hard enough, it becomes slightly less fake, to her.

Following up on @ttankuki pointing out Ly'lac's Jade parallels (living at the top of a tower, gardening, the presence of nearby ruins?), yeah, we could consider her role as Princess of Space or Time. I imagine Arcane's Jinx as the prototypical Princess of Space, where creativity is leveraged for destruction. It may be a stretch, but Ly'lac is expressing her tastes by making cartoon bombs. "IT'S. ART." A point against this reading (both for Ly'lac & Jinx) might be that Eridan & Dirk possessed "legendary" weapons from the moment they were introduced, establishing combat prowess. We have to see if Ly'lac is working on some Biggest Bomb, her equivalent of Fishbones

From what I have gathered, Princes/Princesses carry a self-loathing "I ruin everything" attitude which, after much self-sabotage, transforms into a persona that declares "Fine, I'll start causing problems on purpose." Both Eridan & Dirk "give up" on trying to be a good person or hero, accepting their fate as antagonists. Of course, we're not nearly there with this teen. Nonetheless, with her already trying & failing to cultivate plants the way a "proper" Space player ought to, she seems primed to lean in. This would also be compatible with my personal theory that Rose(bot) is playing a long game with Dirk. Engineering a huge fuck-up of a Space or Time player—one that shares his class while we're at it—poses a clever way to sabotage his antihero efforts indirectly

I'm also trying not to jump to Doom for Ly'lac as I believe Doom has been set up for Tavvy already. Specifically, Tavvy has been groomed by Gamzee into being a Bard of Doom, after more than one near-death experience involving his nut allergy. In general, really, his life fucking sucks & he is extremely aware of all the ways in which it does. With his allergy cured, though, he's had that Doom destroyed (passively). We even see him kind of exploit his father's paternal Hope by intentionally putting himself in harm's way during 8r8k

It would be sensible if the Deltritan group of kids have the Time & Space players considering they are from the "essential" timeline of Meat & those are the most fundamental aspects. It's their planet that's destined for a game, right?

hiii. i haven't done forum shit in a while but i'm happy we already have a classpect one goin. i think jaclyn could b on to somethin w/ the 6 classpects thing. it would b nice if the 4 less used classes were also part of that too :3 i have my theories for how itll work out among the omegas but im interested in hearin other ppls thoughts on the matter. my personal thought on ly'lac atm is witch of doom but i need to comb through the pages again for any other clues
