Me personally, I’ve had a whole lot of fan comics on my backlog for a while now. I’m taking these comics being semi-officially endorsed as a sign for me to lock tf in and finally hop in on them.

So far, I’ve read Vast Error some of Homeslice, and some of Spicyyeti’s work. The next up for me personally is Kittyquest (I love Davepeta), autopraxis (I’ve heard very good things about it), Homeslice (may as well finish it) and Burning Down The House. I’ll likely read the rest too (particularly have my eyes of befriendus, and also the Strife Project) but those are my next priorities.

What about all of y’all? What are you gonna be checking out?

Read: Vast Error, Spicyyeti Collection, Burning Down The House, Kittyquest, Liminal Space.

I've peeked into Autopraxis but I want to read more of it.

Everybody needs to hear someone say “Nobody else will do. It has to be you", even if it's just once in their lives. As long as you can feel sure those words were sincere, you can live through anything, no matter how painful.an utena blinkie.

i know autopraxis, burning down the house, kittyquest, vast error, and spicyyeti's excellent website comics. played meenah's route on befriendus. if this collaboration featured the mysterious comebacks of the tapestry and you're someone it'd be a dream come true, but of course many of the best things are lost to time. then there's john ruins a wedding which i'm reasonably sure is unaffiliated, and i also like what was presented in karkat goes to a convention.

I've read a fair bit of Vast Error, and have been wanting to get into Burning Down the House and Kittyquest forever. I think though, taking a look at sburb.exe, it might be what i check out next!

OK, turns out I am now devouring "Homeslice." Like, halfway through it in 3 days. Think I was in urgent need of wholesomeness.

BUMP! End of Month 1, curious what people have been reading and/or playing.

I'm now caught up to date with "Homeslice." Read a bit more of "Liminal Space", started "Burning Down the House," and started "Thaumotrope" (which is a Vast Error spin-off.)

I've also been reading a few long fanfics on Ao3 by denizens of this forum: "Sburb2", "Skaianet Archives Rewritten" and "Bloodstuck." Basically, I'm running around in the candy shop going "What's this? What's this?"

I've been keeping a closer eye on Loftlatched, though I haven't started a full readthrough quite yet. Sburb.exe and Autopraxis continue delivering the bangers at unprecedented rates. I've also been stuck on Burning Down The House's EOA1 flash for a bit now, I just need to put some time aside to dive into it so I can start burning through Act 2.

Writing for “Fateful Heights”,

a webcomic about boats and magic

and the indeterminable future.

I've caught up to date with Autopraxis in the last few weeks. It really is delievering the bangers - one of the most recent pages is an absolutely HUGE walkaround in a city of Communist mosquitos.

10+ years ago, I used to read as many mspfas I could get my hands on that I didn't instantly bounce off of. ACWOT, Alabaster, Homestesque, Hoofstuck. More I probably don't remember. Barely-HS-adjacent stuff like Waterworks. Never got deep into Lucidstuck but I wanted to. Etc.

And now, in the modern Homestuck fandom ... I've read none of these, or any other modern fanworks really. I think I'm probably a lot pickier than I used to be too. But it looks like my association with Homestuck is back for good, so, like, I guess I should consider if any of these would appeal to me? Sburb.EXE looks promising...
