for context there is only 40 pages of homestuck, and no other mspas.
My theory is that hussie rushed the team so they could have homestuck release on 9/11 for the lols, and didnt bother waiting until the website actually had content.
its on purpose, they're rereleasing the comic in new updates daily over the course of a couple months
They have consistently stated they are purposefully releasing Homestuck in small chunks over two months, to give them time to work on later acts, and to re-create the original feeling of daily updates. The other MSPA's will likely be added once the devs have time to shift focus, kohi is very vocal on discord about development of the site they were not rushed to push it out today compared to any other day- the site has actively been down to everyone's dismay for MONTHS if theres any pressure IMO its from the fans who have been fiending (understandably so) for an official way to read homestuck ever since it went down.

The website was broken because of a DNS error that's all lol there's no conspiracy theories here its just wacky technical difficulties T_T
Yeah like everyone else said your theory is false because this has been the plan for a while. It was announced all the way back in August that the comic will update daily to recreate update culture for new and old fans

According to the homestuck team's Vibri, "it was a joke idea that we planned like...3 days ahead of time, i knew the devs were getting close a week ago and i had been asking what the release was looking like time wise and then we jokingly pitched 9/11 and i was like aight lets just aim for it"
What year is this
i assumed the reuploads were in chunks to garner webtraffic ; i thought it was so people talked about new updates : so there would be an active fandom
It's so sad that they stopped making homestuck after 40 pages I can't believe there's such a big fandom for such a short project. Oh well, there are other webcomics!

Yeah, personally I think Hussie should've carried on with Homestuck instead of working on "Problem Sleuth 2: The Probleming" for the next 7 years.
