Biggest, most favorite aspect of making fankids for me that I feel goes underappreciated is giving them their funny little bedrooms. There's just so much you can say about a character by the things they surround themself with! If you've made a BEDROOM for your OC before, or any room for that matter, please share below! Xo]

ah, ive done a number of them

theyre always pretty intensive to make whenever i need to make them, but they can be fun. i dont have to make rooms often tho so i dont have many presentable examples. also for some reason a lot of my older rooms have really funny perspective and scaling issues its kinda funny to look at how comedically small the kidsprite is in relation to their surroundings

particle.

THESE ARE SO MANY ROOMS??? These look fantastic! <3

Teehee, I've had the same issue with earlier rooms struggling a bit with perspective and scale. Nowadays it's become habit to have an isometric guide up and at least one random kid's sprite pulled up on a locked layer just for size reference, AND THE DIFFERENCE FROM BEFORE AND AFTER THOSE HABITS ARE PRETTY NOTICEABLE...

A black-and-white loosely isometric drawing of a family supplies closet, featuring a shelf with several cleaning supplies, a few storage bins/baskets/boxes, and a washer and dryer up against the walls.

An isometric outdoors rough sketch/guide of a lighthouse with a small annex attached to the side on the ground-level.
