does anyone like picross

funny u bring this up because i've been Obsessed with playing picross lately for like the past three months LOL. Though, I've been playing more like just standard nonograms... I looked up the DS game you mentioned and this looks inssaaanee, i kinda wanna try it O_O

@kimquatz i looove the ds games, picross e3 adds a really good mode called mega picross. its pretty easy to find a .3ds file for it online if you wanna use citra :o

i played a bunch of Mario Picross a while back, it was fun!

Pokemon Picross on the Nintendo 3DS.

Holy fuck this is the best thread. Yes I love Picross. I think I played most of Picross DS during class in my last year of high school, but I lost my save file and didn't want to redo everything. I cry a little every time I think about it.

I've played some Pokémon Picross but until I only recently figured out how cheats work on a modded 3DS so I don't have much progress haha (seriously why did they make you pay to keep playing). I need to play that sometime.

I LOVE NONOGRAMS! i've done 3500 of them at https://pixelogic.app/every-5x5-nonogram (and i've played a tiny bit of mario and pokémon picross) (and all of the puzzles in https://kenney.itch.io/pixross)

i think the only actual picross game I've played is the pokemon one..? but i LOVE nonograms in general. im curious if you've played murder by numbers at all? ive yet to actually finish it myself but i think the way they combine vn investigation gameplay with the nonograms is a lot of fun :)

Picross S+ is so cool. I don't think "porting the entire 3DS series to Switch and calling it the final core Picross S game" was on a single bingo card across all of spacetime. It looks like Jupiter is totally done with Switch 1 games... wonder what their big Switch 2 debut is going to look like.

I wish Hal would do another Picross 3D...

Tried it on my dsi a year ago and I open it up from time to time. I get it but at the same time I don't get it. I get the basic rules but at the same time a lot of it to me seems like random guess work sometimes. I might just be stupid idk.

On the subject of nonograms has anyone else tried out the Piczle series of games? Surprisingly charming little indie puzzle series with a lot of character to it. Rough around the edges but Piczle Cross Adventure provides a fun picross style-adventure game that I really enjoyed, and Piczle Colors was surprisingly enjoyable too. PCA is available on both steam and switch but is actually on sale on the latter for dirt cheap rn so if you have the console I'd recommend picking it up.
