Discussing Chess Beyond Limit :]

I'm interested to see where the love subplot between Black Pawn B and Grey Knight goes, but I'm worried it will devolve into some sloppy, cheesy "will they won't they" that slowly takes over the story.

Also happy to see trans rep that's just, like, normal and not a federal fucking issue with the Black King/Queen. Interested to see how the story will unfold from hereon out, especially with the reveal that Black Pawn C is still alive after falling off the board at the end of Page 2. I hope it can find a way back on (since the existence of board layer 2 seems to imply this is some sort of tower that can be climbed)

Well, the reveal that Black Pawn B is C's stalker was an interesting turn of events! so maybe it won't be as simple as that.

Also, speaking of romance subplots, the reveal that the White Queen is in love with the Black Queen is so interesting to me because it makes me wonder if she'd ever betray her side of the board? or will the White pieces winning surpass any urge to get with the Black Queen. Plus afaik the Black Queen has shown no signs of infidelity, and supports her wife's transition (she never made any verbal objections). Who knows all i know is that maybe WQ and BQ toxic yuri is gonna pop up at some point lolll

Also yeah you're so right about Board layer 2!. A tower without stairs is very bad design though I hope someone got fired for that blunder /j

I wonder what other layers are like if WC and BD keep digging

i have a few ideas in mind for the future, but i'm prioritizing being flexible to account for users being able to suggest literally anything.

i love chess beyond limit. one of my favorite turns has been "WHITE QUEEN: Read TOME of chess openings" with the chess diagram depicting the current state of the board. i'm a sucker for cute diagrams

correct me if i'm wrong but i believe CBL is inspired by the game played on the Anarchy Chess subreddit which started much the same way. there are some youtube videos that recap the event. it's very funny, i recommend checking it out

also thoughts on the new update GOOOOOOD White Warlock wearing the yellow hazmat suit next to the king and queen is KILLING ME cus the update before that it talks about how making drugs is illegal yet he looks so obvious its hilarious help

I enjoy every update. Plus the characters being 3d models is so unique to me cus normally I see ppl draw these images instead (at least the forumventures I've quickly looked at)
