If you clicked on this thread it's either because you are already a member of the OSC or perhaps just curious about what the hell and "ObjectShow" is. In my time in the OSC (ObjectShowCommunity) i've found alot of folks who also like Homestuck there, so i was curious if the overlap went the other way as well.
For the uninitiated, "ObjectShows" refers to a creative work, generally an animated youtube series, inspired by Cary and Michael Huang's Battle for Dream Island, known commonly as BFDI for short. Many of the other shows in the community follow BFDI's formula of being a reality show where viewers get to vote on who gets eliminated, but not all shows follow the formula so strictly. The community is pretty niche and VERY self referential so even if BFDI is LONG and made over a decade ago by literal children, i promise watching it before any other show will be worth it.
If anyone here wants other recommendations though, feel free to ask! I'm always eager to talk about these shows~
What the fuck. Why is the knife moving. It's not supposed to do that.

Modern BFDI is very very good, i haven't watch too much of the minis myself but i see the newer ones from time to time. The Rose character from mini appeared in a main episode not too long ago and was voice my Gooseworx.
bfdi mini natural probably the best because whoever was animating honeycomb was having way too much fun.
in particular i loved this bit in the final episode where there's some actually pretty nice choreography (https://youtu.be/cDBOOijXyck?&t=546) and that slick ass mario kaizo part when they climb the wall (https://youtu.be/cDBOOijXyck?&t=186). lowkey im surprised more people don't do like, objects fighting (at least that i know of) but i'd imagine most people want to do more story stuff instead of straight boxing. i get it tho object assets look mad limited

The Daily Object Show (TDOS) did alot of pretty neat combat stuff pretty regularly but the humor falls pretty flat on me, knowing one of the characters is "Despacito Pill" summarizes half of the shows entire humor pretty well. TPOT's recent episodes have had alot of fight scenes too but i can't off the top of my head think of any other show that does that kind of thing too often, i'd say Animatic Battle but that show's only 2 episodes deep so hard to say if they'll keep it up.
