finally someone gets me. kanaya is one of the most bamfy of bamfs (or maybe just a bam) in hs. in candy she's grieving and snarky and in meat she's just been depressed and isn't given any fucking agency.
homestuck "team", if you are listeneing in, hire magic mirror. let kanaya fucking do something cool. let her kill dirk AND vriska. or at least let her and jade work their shit out in, like, either universe.
We're definitely not done with Candy just because the omega kids are on Deltritus now, so there's definitely room for the Karkat-Meenah-Kanaya triad to continue to be present in the narrative and do cool shit.
I think now that Kanaya has actually divorced her wife and will definitely not be with Rose after that stunt of hers, that we will see more Kanaya where she does cool things on her own without enabling the bad behavior of other people. I hope the troll rebellion gets more attention soon because it's actually really interesting on it's own and I want to see more of Kanaya, Karkat, and Meenah doing stuff about it. I think it's kind of lame that they just treat it as if it's secondary to the emotional middle aged drama going on between the rest of the cast lol.
