The driving force of Homestuck is SBURB, a video game with mechanics so convoluted that it would make playing Crusader Kings seem like a 100 piece puzzle. I might be the only person who cares about understanding the mechanics of a fictional video game, but i want to shave a few years off my speedrun so i'm making this thread anyway.

I've read Homestuck like, 10 times by now and literally every single time I reread it I get so sad when they ease off the Sburb mechanic exploration because it's genuinely so fascinating. Every day I yearn for a world where we got to actually see the kids completing their planetary quests aside from John.

I love SBURB so much, I wish I could eat it. It is really dissapointing how it eases off the SBURB mechanics at around Act 5, along with the Sylladex mechanics. Not necessarily the shenanigans, those were a bit of a drag, but the intricacies of it were a bit forfeited for the character development.

The gloobiness... It never stops...
