Hi everyone. What are your most fav MSPFAs and Fan Adventures that you most enjoy? And what did you like most about them? Do you have any favourite moments or characters? And if you could say one thing to the creator (something nice!!!) what would it be?
https://mspfa.com/?s=38151&p=1
theres this one named "The cerulean motley cre" but i heard it pretty darn niche
like i had to use a tor portal to just view it, but you know how it is with comics these days
dont have too much time right now to like truly go beastmode writing about mspfas (it's getting late) so i'll talk about one that caught my eye a bit ago

this shit is so goddamn cool and it seemingly got kinda swept away in the recently updated tab due to uploading all at once which suuuucks because this mspfa is awesome. you don't see too much slice of life stuff on mspfa (at least, I don't), especially one that has sburb mechanics interwoven into it but scuttlesunk manages to do that super well and it just makes it feel really unique overall. it's short and sweet and overall a really fun read that i think more people should know about
the yung filipino prophet
The only fan adventure I really keep up with at this point in time is 4Kidz by Homdogger/KarkatVEVO (who I saw earlier on the forums, hi!), just a nice fun read with good art and good humor too it, would recommend. I'm definitely planning to get into some more soon, like all the FRAF affiliated ones
FedoraFreak
geniunely i think the MSPFA Trollian Torture is a pretty solid mspfa, even if it just has like. 59 pages right now..
it's very unique in its own way,.,.
also on everyone's soul we're reading housebound (aldrich studios)

ive been following the development of hsetau since like 2016 but despite it being at like 1k+ favorites at this point i never hear anyone talk about it. its really good please read it
It begins to dawn on you that everything you are about to do may have been a colossal waste of time.
Prisounebound is one of my favorite MSPFAs honestly. Really cool character designs and dynamics, it's a sburbventure but it has a lot of interesting lore going into it which seems to be actually connected to sburb itself. If you like trollventures but you also like epic scale bliblical style lore then this might be for you lol.
Cool suggestions here from others though, I read a few of those, and I definitely agree with above on HSETAU!
Mr. Tambourine Man by odditycollector is one of my favorites right now, great art and writing. it IS on MSPFA but i read it on the creator's website, which i recommend doing. one of the best john-centric works in my opinion!!
I must get out of here. I must get free and in this mind is the key. -Agent Smith, The Matrix
MARTYRDOM by GRAVEYARDZHIFT is really good! it's about the midnight crew and their fan Carapacians. i'm pretty sure it's not being updated anymore tho :(
The only two that Ive found to enjoy are cool and new webcomic and sbaby.. I feel that both do a good job in encompassing what I like about the earlier acts of Homestuck while still having some new Elements
For example, I like that in CANWC sweet bro and hella Jeff are real Characters.. And that rose is a lord of space (and I do prefer this rose over HS rose). And I enjoy Sbaby because it is simply hilarious to watch baby john and rose do baby things

I agree with katrinasis HSETAU is a very good mspfa :^)
I have many, I'm Good I'm Gone (and the creator) inspired me to start mine. aAlabaster is also one that's super long running and had really inspired a lot of themes in my own works too

"KARKAT IS MARRIED" is easily my favorite. There's not too much to it now but I think it has great characterization and very much keeps the spirit of HS's humor. It deserves way more traction
Ligmastuck definitely ranks up there, as well as the author's other adventure, Edgestuck Chainbound.
The former has some excellent batshit antics, as well as being a celebration of all that makes homestuck interesting. A lot of deep cuts that are fun to look for.
The latter is entirely different and is one of the most compelling sburbventures I've ever read. It has a strong unique sense of direction and structure compared to other sburbventures and it really gets to the gristle of what sburb would be like for a bunch of edgy teenagers in a contemporary friend-group, while also displaying chunni badassery and sweeping land-scapes.

(aough where is the bb code editor on this thing)
There's a good amount of them I like but I do like conjoined session, Hoxxesbound and Living on the Edge
New class unlocked! Chief!
It may seem silly to say that two of these comics are "underrated", given they've both crossed the 1k threshold in favorites, but key to keep in mind when it was they were started.
DICE (Divine Interference: Cosmic Exertion). Genuinely fun, funny, and creative troll comic. Jun 11 2018 - Yet I never see anyone talk about it, despite it predating a lot of what is popular for MSPFA's now (especially with the old school Hussie influence in the art style).
1005 favorites.
The Tapestry: A Tour of Carnival Space. Beautiful and eye-catching, some of the later environmental work is like a crazy mix between Whistles and H.R. Giger. Aug 04 2017.
1131 favorites.
45 Dead Presidents. Genuinely just a funny read, especially if you're familiar with political history, and aware of conspiracy theories.
More recent though. Aug 14 2024 - less than 200 favorites.
the tapestry: a tour of carnival space is really damn good. super sick art including intricate flashes and other such fun things. to my knowledge hasn’t updated in forever but even so is worth checking out just to enjoy what is there
lowkey smiling and laughing
sweet hella quest and a guy gets revenge are my favorites. SHQ inspired me to create mine, and the characterizations of the sbahj guys in it are just so good. It's more shitposty of course but still has a pretty good story going on and the balance between it is so good. Big fan of the clowns. I'd go into moments but it's just so good to read blind. like you just Gotta
aggr has a super good story and incredible art and i literally cannot recommend it enough. i love the writing for zarita especially, as well as Guy himself. the art is all done in mspaint (aside from some paint 3d panels) (which still counts i think lol?) and its all Incredible!!!!! It's so gooood!!!!!
