Helloooo fellow homestucks, I have a request for you. The past few months, my every waking hour (#exaggeration) has been consumed by the upmost of urgent mysteries:
Where does the cover of Karkat's romance novel come from?
Back in July, I was able to identify the leftmost character (Troll Fabio) as being from the cover of Man of My Dreams by Johanna Lindsey as painted by Elaine Duillo. That same day, a friend of mine identified the middle two as being from the cover of Lady of Winter by Emma Merritt as painted by Max Ginsburg. Unfortunately, our victories halt here, as I have hereto been unable to find the final character anywhere online.
This mystery has been haunting me for the past few months. I've been neck deep in romance novel covers for the past hour, fervorously trying to find the right combination of terms to type into online searches, and I need someone to save me. If anyone is able to find the final character source, I would be greatly appreciative.

I unfortunately have no information to offer, but I wish you good luck on your noble quest.
This is some straight up delirious biznasty, Dawg!!
I am googling every Fabio romance novel cover I can find but failing to find the relevant poses. I will try again tomorrow
The success of a paradigm may not be for the reasons it claims (i.e. accurate description of the world). This is good.
Re: Malo
It may also be that the character on the right isn’t even from a Fabio cover specifically, as there’s plenty of similar style romance novel covers without Fabio on them.
I had a friend suggest it maybe isn’t even from a romance novel cover at all, but I’m holding out for a romance novel cover because otherwise there’s no leads.
Thank you for the assistance!
