hi there, i am the individual usually known online as Tengu. Only read homestuck a couple years ago for anthropological internet interest and liked it quite a bit!
My interests include but are not limited to: movies, especially japanese ones (kurosawa, miike, obayashi, the other kurosawa, godzilla and various tokusatsu, etc) - videogames, usually single player ones (sonic, mega man, dmc, mgs, etc) - a bunch of anime i guess - some books, currently reading frankenstein - uhhh homestuck.

hopefully everything works out for this place though, it's gonna be tough given we live in the age of discord but if there's one thing i know about homestuck fans, it's that they really like old-school stuff, and a forum's pretty retro at this point c:

Yo i'm aari, im blasian(african-american + indian) and i love rap music in addition to roleplaying. first exposure to homestuck was from an attack on titan roleplaying community on roblox. I also love hoi4 and history(specifically pre ww1 russia).

I'm Dirk, and...no that's not a bit that is actually my name. Now, if I am also doing a bit? Well that's neither here nor there. I'm just a guy with a fucked up brain that's fascinated by the capabilities of brains and explores that a lot. Horror fan. Zombie apocalypse enjoyer.

... And yes, I like Dirk Strider. His whole backstory lowkey falls into the "horror" genre once you actually think about it, and I can poke his brain with sticks. Plus he falls into one of my favorite character types. I was done for before I even hit Act 6, frankly.

I'm an artist in lots of different ways, painting, visuals, 3d, music, writing, you name it, or don't name it because I probably actually don't do anything else other than the stuff I've just listed

if I had to say, I probably excel in doodling

I'm somewhat of an UltraGamer, which is my way of saying that I'm like super duper good at videogames

one of my favorite-est games has to be Spelunky 2 just out of the pure amount of 1,000 hours I may or mayn't have

im an artist and made a youtube video once that has homestuck music in it and everyone is like "holy shit is that homestuck," yes yes it is. my youtube channel is acesten harls if youre curious.

other than homestuck, i love animation. it is my bread and butter, what gives me life and meaning. gravity falls, the powerpuff girls, and animaniacs are def the top 3. madoka magica is very good as well.

I'm relatively new to the fandom all things considered!! though i have been haunted by homestuck all my life leading up to me eventually reading it heehee. I've been properly in the fandom for about a year now and i adore it here!! This dumb webcomic and especially the fanbase surrounding it brings me utmost joy. I occasionally post stuff on tiktok under the handle st3phosc0pe, i'm most active on there but that doesn't say much. My classpect is knight of heart, and my extended zodiac sign is aqualo.
