it was the music (fan & official) that created much of what is the atmosphere of Homestuck for me. I'm fascinated by Prospit and Derse and my current favorite track is Core of Darkness by Solatrus.

I love the music in homestuck so much on a whim I wrote out a Top 50 of my personal favorite homestuck tracks from the original discography because I love the music so much and I think not enough people talk about it.

I work at a daycare and i play some of the music for the kids, among the favorites are moonsetter, we walk, raggy looking dance and most of the squiddles album but the kids absolutely rave to Mayor Maynot. Originally i played the "Do The Musicy Thing" piano covers for them on youtube because we where doing a whole "seeing music be played" thing and it just took off from there.
I love how Homestuck.net has the old Archive with a lot of the lost Homestuck Music, I have all of the music saved on my PC for Modded Crypt of the Necrodancer (Dave Strider Version) and Beat Hazard.
