When did you get into Homestuck? My favorite character used to be Cronus because I was a soft grunge blogger. Now it's Vriska because she was confirmed as Trans. I am 27 and got into Homestuck when I was in middle school. It's wild I still remember the goth girl who showed me her Gamzee fanart that got me into Homestuck. The best part of Homestuck was the cosplays and fanart that exploded on tumblr every upd8. I'm 27 now and still a fan of this big silly thing
this sounds like a lie but i had a dream about homestuck before i even knew what it was over a decade ago- and then finally got off my ass and tried getting into it in 2020 cuz a friend was having a hyperfixation at the time and THEN finally read through the whole thing in 2023
people started saying it was required reading material for deltarune so i started reading it and got hooked by the time i got to [s] descend
My friends kept beating me up about Homestuck last year. And now, I can't fight it. I can't fight the Homestuck. I love these little goobers and nothing will change my mind.
It probably makes more sense that I was also an Undertale kid before that.

A friend of mine showed me Homestuck when I was still in highschool, and it was hard to get passed Act 3 before I discovered the Voxus videos on youtube. I was finally able to catch up not too long after it finished, after searching youtube for different read-throughs of the rest of what Voxus hadn't covered. I got to see HS^2 start from the beginning, and got a similar feeling of desperately waiting for updates that my old friend had told me they suffered through. Now I get to experience the old forums too!
got into homestuck in middleschool. its been my special interest ever since.
in 2011 an artist i really liked on deviantart started posting a bunch of homestuck fanart (we were mutuals via the invader zim and happy tree friends fandoms) and for some reason baby me was just enamored with how they drew john so i went and read it all in one long sitting. god i wish i remembered the artist though im sure they long deleted their account by now.
Summer during early middle school, a friend of mine told me to read it. I, a humble little adhd child at the time, spedran the whole thing in 3 days (Act 6 was on an extremely long pause at the time) and then never shut up about it. I would draw ocs in my notebooks instead of do homework. And now I wish more people would read this thing!!!

Basically I went to comic con when I was trying to get into superheros, but I kept seeing these people in grey makeup and I was like "holy shit, what is that all about?". At some point I stopped one of them, I know she was dressed as Vriska now haha, but she kind of explained homestuck and I went home and took matters into my own hands from there.
