idk if this is a hot take or not but i think shin godzilla is the best godzilla design. the movie itself can be a bit boring + swamped in japanese imperialism but i just love how he looks.

there is discussion about a second film being made, and as much as I love the first one and what it tried doing. I will admit it does drag at parts and im hoping this second film will be more standard with more monster action

my dad fell asleep watching shin godzilla and i'm still sad about it even though it was through work exhaustion
anyways here's hoping minus two or whatever is good. i'm incredibly wary. same with whatever the fuck might be going on with shin 2.
even though out of all the shin films, shin kamen rider and ultraman deserve it way more.
