(creating this thread for the lack of a dedicated fanventure board)
a friend of mine works on an adventure called 'a guy gets revenge' on mspfa. its fantastic and i think its worth a read.
for some reason it shows the post date of this thread as 5 hours in the future o_o
anyways im here to shamelessly promote the fanventure that me and some discord friends are making. go read Sidequest by guii on MSPFA
weird. timezone shenanigans maybe?
huge fan of these panels, btw
another friend of mine is working on a comic titled 'out the front' the link is here: https://mspfa.com/?s=63625&p=1
send some support their way if you like it!
Have you guys ever heard of Cult Following? Its 10 year anniversary is coming up - SO EXCITED
It is wholly original and has so much to offer in terms of character, world, story, and wit!!!
Cannot suggest it enough!!
- Clubs!!
I’m totally gonna drop this here. Mainly because it’s one of the best things I could‘ve Had happen to me in fanventure history.
I made an alabaster: doomed session sona for some art I worked on for the comic.
Stearl was in that most recent update.
The update that dropped when I was celebrating my birthday with friends.
It was the best timing I could have asked for! It tickles me with joy!

my list of favorites is The Tapestry, Loftlatched, AUTOPRAXIS, Desynced, and beneViolent tho i second ST in that Alabaster is very good
ADS reminds me of 2013-adjacent fanventures which also make me mention Dungeons of Sunnydale and Hexane and Edgestuck + sb.exe (tho that barely counts) I think all of those are good in their own way
I honestly wish there were more PS-likes (like DoS) and Hexane's idea of putting their variety of Pickle Inspectors into SBURB is so so so good
"The tall, slender plumes of the fountains among the marble sculptures."
agree with the person above im more into problem sleuth styled adventures, i made an adventure dungeon debacle and am working on some other sleuthlike projects my all time favorite gotta be suburban slasher
re: spades slick
YOOOO wtf out the front mentioned... that shit is so cool visual-wise it's lowk inspiring. i am patiently awaiting a new update i'll be going Kino Daemon mode for it.
anyways im gonna recommend like, 1 of my own and 1 from someone else cuz #equalexchange lowkey the method.
Soul Sleuth by spectralCatnap

this shit just rules... no lie. super sick noir/paranormal adventure with really nice art and also a lot of custom tracks, which are always nice. my fav thing about it is that it manages to do narration with character "voice" extremely well and every set of panels w/ the 3 different characters introduced so far feels incredibly unique. i think for mspfas in particular having that sort of uniqueness between characters and how you read the prose can be pretty hard to pull off well but soul sleuth manages to do that and it elevates it suuuper high. overall just if u havent read this u should have cuz it's going MSPFA platinum forever and ever

this 100% biased and self promo but i really liked working on this. it gave me a very good excuse as to why i was up at like 4:30 in the morning biking around my town (photography dubs), and doing all tha writing was a really nice creative exercise. it's definitely a lil weird, as it's absolutely not at all close to a normal MSPFA but i think it's cool fr

@anomaletix
really cool. really enjoying the quantized photos of 439 515! i love doing this kind of shit with my panels.
this one is a panel in my comic Deadmeat on mspfa. heres the link: https://mspfa.com/?s=56572&p=1
theres something so nice about bitcrushed photos its really comfy
reminder that self promo is like, totally ok. this space is meant for discussing your own adventures and discussing the other adventures you like.
lol I already made a dedicated one ages ago here lhttps://www.fruityrumpus.com/forums/t/post-about-your-favourite-mspfas-here
Man there needs to be a search feature
https://mspfa.com/?s=38151&p=1
@ceruleansnake
didnt see this thread, but i think this thread still has a use. i havent seen a thread for discussing your own adventures as well in the mspa creative board
well, there IS one for sharing your adventures but it comes with the caveat of necessarily inviting critique.
Anyone remember Hexane? I remember Hexane... that was peak...
i have quite a few fanadventures ive been making since i was like 14 but the early writing is shit dude i cant ask people to read it because its straight up ass
[WITTY REMARK HERE]
ive been working on making a fanventure for over a year at this point and the first character you get to meet has had more writing action in a completely separate unrelated universe... SOB ! its not posted anywhere because im suffering through art hell and writing hell and concept hell and hell hell. it gets kinda hot icl
I haven't seen anyone shilling for this comic, so I guess I will.
I think that Mergebound is a pretty baller comic, and I'm very much looking forward to further updates.

A GUY GETS REVENGE MENTION!!!!!!! Creator of that is also my friend and he's fucking awesome. Coolest dude. Also the story is so fun, I love all the characters so much!!!
Another one i enjoy is Sweet Hella Quest. Literally so good. I don't see it talked about much which upsets me. I love how it interprets sweet bro especially and its just how i see him at this point. also i love the original characters too.
