I started writing some Homestuck fics and I kind of like Davekat, but I never really find fics that have the general premise of them in a different kind of romantic quadrant. So I started to write fics of them like that just to see if other people, like, saw my vision yk?
I mostly write Davekat as Spades and I've only ever met one other person who also likes this interpretation of their relationship.I really like writing stories about characters going on an epic journey that has a lot of fight scenes and stuff.
Anyways if you have any fics like this or like you are writing one and you also like this idea I'd love to hear about it, I love talking about the different ways people interpret the ships in this story. This is also a no-judgement zone I don't judge other people over ships I find fighting about that kind of stuff really mean.

I guess what I mean is that I often find that there aren't that many different interpretations of their relationship outside of the usual fluffy fics where they're like together and stuff. And while I do know that they are "all of the quadrants at once" it still just kind of feels like people write them in one way. Specifically the Blackrom side of their relationship which I rarely get to see, and I'd like to see how other people would write it and stuff lol.

I really like fluffy davekat don't get me wrong but sometimes I just have a hankering for something different. Hopefully if I write more fics or whatever it'll spread like propaganda...and other people will finally see the light (joke)
i truly mourn the fact people don't depict them as pitch as much anymore! it used to be so much more common way back in the day. i don't have any fic recommendations off the top of my head, it's been a while since i last read anything, but i'll look through my bookmarks.
