I'm a big ol' nerd when it comes to classpecting, and I'd love to see YOUR CLASSPECTS FOR NON-MSPA/MSPFA CHARACTERS doesn't matter who or what they're from. Explanations for the assigned classpect aren't required but they are HEAVILY encouraged.
spongebob!! or maybe aubree from the roblox arg ihasafacelulz :O3
i have a list of classpects for characters from the fanganronpa project: eden’s garden somewhere
I'd start off with my classpects for the individual Strawhat pirates, but that would end up being like 12 pages of prattling. So I'll just start with the fact that Luffy is the quintessential Lord of Breath if caliborn is anything to go off of for Lord characteristics. Luffy is a character who is ALL about freedom. The freedom to live, the liberation of the oppressed, the freedom of choice, the freedom to dream. He exemplifies change, each and every place he goes to is struck by profound change, and leaves with profound joy (which is arguably one of the minor traits of breath shared with a few other aspects) and he even has his own "felt" in his crew (and the Strawhat Grand Fleet to a lesser extent). If a Lord is a fiercely determined person who despite all odds grips their dream by the testicles and forces it to come true, I could think of nothing better for Luffy. There's a shitload more I could say on him but I'll save that for later hee hee hoo hoo haa haa.
I'm dogshit at classpecting but I still think its cool, I think that the Black Knight from Monty Pythons Holy Grail would be a Knight of Void entirely upon the basis that he's strong as shit because Equius is a void and he's strong as shit. He also maintains his strength even through the loss of all his limbs lol, I don't quite know how it would make him a knight or even a void but it just sounds right to me  Also sorry about the images I don't really know how this works tbh
In response to the first reply by rotgirl, I think you might've forgotten to include your classpects for the characters. Unless you were asking me to classpect them? I don't know who the aubree character is, but Spongebob, to me, is the Heir of Life. Life has a lot of food imagery, what with B. Crock, Nanna and Jane and that obviously reflects in spongebob. Spongebob is a pretty average guy, all things considered, but he still lives in relative luxury (his house has a personal library for Neptune's sake!) which is a prevalent theme with the life aspect. He also just loves living!
Void is genuinely the perfect aspect for the Black Knight. For class though I think I'd actually sway towards maid. It's my (100% objectively true) opinion that maids are the passive half of knights, both of which we see having very active control of their aspect. I think a prime example of him being a void player who actively controls void is how he refuses to accept the truth of the injury (light having themes of truth) and therefore remains uninjured (in a sense xD)
No yeah now thinking about it kinda makes sense ,, lowkey. I understand the aspects more I haven't quite delved into the individual classes.
Dude, don't even worry about that shit. The vast majority of folk who are like, actually competent and classpecting would agree that they started with the aspects and then understood the classes. I've been classpecting for like, 8 years give or take and my ideas on the classes (and aspects to a significantly lesser extent) are still evolving and changing.
I've got a lot of these, but I saw the Strawhat Pirates get mentioned so I'll go over my mythological title assignments! :3
To me, Luffy is an obvious Heir of Breath — the Breath aspect is relatively self-explanatory, and I find the idea of an Heir rather appealing to apply to him due to the concept of the Will of D. He is, quite literally, an heir to freedom.
I thought for a while about Zoro, but I eventually came to the conclusion that he's a Prince of Time. He's incredibly self-destructive and blasé about a lot of things, and I just feel like Time fits his sort of ambition that doesn't account for his own health. I also wanted the crew to have a Time player, LOL.
Prince of Time Zoro is a FASCINATING take that I don't think I would ever have considered, but it really fits a lot better than I'd have thought. Admittedly, Time has always been my weaksuit (don't think that's a word lmao) when it comes to classpecting. I personally always have him as a Knight of Blood.
Oh, and also, to anybody who's scrolled this far down I cannot stress enough how much I encourage you to absolutely blab for miles. If you have a trillion characters you want to classpect and explain PLEASE DO. I will not only delight in reading them but guffaw in exultation in the face of such passion.
Accidentally posted before I was done... Oops!
Nami is a Maid of Light — not too too sure about this one but it's what I eventually decided upon.
Usopp is a Page of Doom, because, like... c'mon. I just think that's perfect for him. He's fundamentally lacking rules and discipline and throughout the story he'll (presumably) become a brave warrior worthy of his aspect.
Sanji is a Mage of Heart. Not only does he suffer from Oda's obnoxious gags surrounding his love of women, but from the innate emotional tampering attempted by his father before his birth. He knows a lot about love and what it means to feel things, and it causes him no small amount of pain to do so.
Tony Tony Chopper is a Sylph of Life. I didn't think about this one too much, it just felt right.
Nico Robin is a Seer of Void. The Void aspect is pretty obvious given her connection to the Void Century, and her struggle with her knowledge and how to apply it given her persecution led me to the Seer class. I guess I could be convinced of Mage, but eh...
Franky is a Witch of Mind. He actively uses his knowledge of mechanics and the logic of engineering and then throws that all out the window to make goofy, silly gadgets. Perfect.
Brook is a Prince of Doom. In this, I am more referring to the idea that he is one who destroys Doom rather than one who destroys with Doom (although he does, in fact, do that). He actively breaks the laws of nature by existing and he constantly rebels against prevailing ideas about what rules are and what someone ought to do.
Jinbe is a Knight of Space, because they needed a Space player and I don't remember a lot about Jinbe. He just seems like the Knight type, I guess.
Brainhole, that's so real. I think Blood is honestly a really good fit for Zoro as well considering his ties to Kuina. I think they're both valid interpretations, it would just depend on what the session needed. :p
Firstly, Mage of Heart Sanji is incredible. I'd always had him as a heart player (because fucking duh.) but the class was always shaky with him. Witch of Mind Franky is also perfect, he'd always been tough for me (despite him being one of my favorite characters). Though I personally always have Robin as a Mage rather than a Seer. I think her directly experiencing the darkness of humanity and the government that's swept under the rug provides great backing for that as well as, like you said, the Void Century shit. Usopp to me has always and will always be a Page of Rage considering in my eyes Rage is the aspect of Truth, Negative Emotions and Worship (shared theme with it's counter). Usopp throughout the entire series has told a lie, only for that lie to come true. From his army of 5,000 (The Grand Fleet) to fighting a giant goldfish (Little Garden), his constant lying founded in his fears and insecurity ends up coming to fruition. Also, the whole Perona "I'm always negative thing" is such strong proof that whatever he is, it's 10000000% either Doom or Rage. I ALSO WANT TO SEE USOPP IN TINY SHORTS
I didn't have Jinbe's written down in the same file as the rest of the Strawhats, but I remember what I always have him as anyways. He's, to me, the perfect example of a Maid of Blood. Maids, as far as we can tell with Jane and Aradia, directly experience the negative parts of their aspect and in turn understand how to utilize their aspect better. Jinbe gets a firsthand look at the metaphorical chains that keep the fishmen down, as well as the inability for those of "different" blood to get along despite the fact that in truth the same blood runs through their veins. Though I think maids are the counterpart to knight rather than the sylph as many believe, I don't think it's crazy to say that maids have a strong basis of nurturing similar to sylphs, which is obviously a huge thing with Jinbe.
I remember thinking about this a couple months back so in short I wanted to classpect my friends. I really only got a definitive one on my friend popcat, irl I've known for more than a decade. I think he's slyph of rage on account of his extreme anger issues, he is the physical embodiment of rage itself and its kinda horrifying. On a more on topic note thinking about Full Metal Alchemist I feel like Edward is definitely a something of life on account of his messing with life itself part but also a space because of his more general use of creation and also him in his current form being the product of creation. ( I think of space as generally the aspect of creation since that makes sense to me ) . I can also see Alphonse being a perhaps maid or mage of void since he himself is just missing yk, although he does resent it and I feel like it kinda reminds me of Dave and how he started to resent his aspect, (if I'm remembering right). So I'm almost knight leaning. Not sure
Fascinating!! Yeah, I can absolutely see Maid for Jinbe and honestly I think I agree. Usopp being Rage also makes sense... Much to think about!!! I guess I'll just post all my other One Piece classpects because why not!! A lot of these I don't really have much of an explanation for but I'll elaborate on the ones I can. If you want more elaboration on any particular assignment I'll try to remember my reasoning. :p
Shanks - Witch of Heart
Marshall D. Teach - Bard of Breath (I wanted him to intentionally parallel Luffy like he does in the manga, so I decided that they should share an aspect but use it in decidedly different ways. Blackbeard likes to use his freedom to destroy and create chaos just for the fun of it, and i think that's pretty Bard-y.
Buggy - ??? of Light (Not sure about the class, but Buggy has to be a Light player. He just has too much luck and gets too much narrative attention not to be.
Charlotte Linlin - Thief of Blood (She literally steals peoples lives and uses her own bloodline to take and take and take until there is nothing left.)
Kaidou - Witch of Doom (He literally messes with the concept of death so much that he is unable to die. This was one I decided before the Wano Country Saga ended, so my opinion has changed slightly, but... whatever.
Edward Newgate - Knight of Blood
Sengoku - Rogue of Rage
Sakazuki - Prince of Hope
Borsalino - Bard of Space (Surprisingly not a Light player! I just feel like Space really fits him. He literally spaces out, LOL.)
Issho - Seer of Mind
Aramaki - Bard of Doom
Kuzan - Thief of Void
Bartholomew Kuma - Maid of Doom
Boa Hancock - Knight of Heart (She literally protects her heart by using hearts to freeze the hearts of others.)
Dracule Mihawk - Heir of Time (I just wanted this to parallel Zoro, LOL.)
Edward Weevil - Page of Blood (Yeah... I had to include him...)
Crocodile - Prince of Mind
Gecko Moria - Mage of Doom (I really like Doom, you might have been able to tell.)
Trafalgar D. Water Law - Prince of Void
Donquixote Doflamingo - Prince of Life (I intentionally made Law and Doflamingo share classes to sort of continue the parallels between the two. They're both destructive, but to different ends and for different reasons [primarily their circumstances of birth and how they were raised] and I think it fits!)
Monkey D. Dragon - Knight of Hope
Sabo - Maid of Rage
Gol D. Roger - Knight of Breath
Eustass Kid - Page of Rage
Portgas D. Ace - Rogue of Blood (Blood aspect is self explanatory.)
Rob Lucci - Prince of Light
I have a list of all-over-the-place classpects, in no particular order:
Lewis Finch (What Remains of Edith Finch) - Derse Page of Hope
Edie Finch (What Remains of Edith Finch) - Prospit Muse of Doom
Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - Prospit Heir of Breath
Swansea (MOUTHWASHING) - Derse Mage of Doom
Mickey Barnes (Mickey 17) - Split-Sway Page of Heart
Carl (Llamas with Hats) - Derse Prince of Blood
Nas'hrah (Fear & Hunger) - Derse Thief of Light
Chara / "The Demon" (Undertale) - Derse Muse of Light (I'd say my least orthodox one)
look...they're so jolly, to see, you!!
Chara Muse of Light is fascinating. Can I inquire as to why Light specifically? I think I can kinda see the vision but also I'm not so sure.
