i just use the power of a manually typed "Re:"
The reply feature is coming first thing tomorrow morning according to one of our programmers. In the meantime, you'll have to do it the goofy way: signaling that you're replying to someone with re: username
Colored text is also upcoming soon-ish. The big advantage of this thing being made basically from scratch is that it's very modular and we can add so much, but it does mean that some default proboards/forum features are not implemented yet.

so far re: is the best (and objectively funniest) way to go about replying to specific people but idk maybe properly embedded replies will be added eventually. i wouldnt mind at least some way to receive notifications for when someone replies to me specifically yknow
You just press the "reply" button. though if you mean a specific post in a thread we don't seem to have quotes enabled (yet??) but you can probably just like. copy paste the bit you want to respond to with a classic > or maybe brackets and yaknow. just talk.
the key is in learning to type so passive aggressively everyone knows who you are responding to instinctively.
