I don't really care for the Youtube Video Analysis type of formalism where some dweeb insists a story must have Character Arcs that must resolve perfectly like the M in the McDonalds Happy Meal. But I also don't care for reviews and analysis of stories or media that just boil down to "X happened and I relate to that because it also happened to me." If you want to seriously talk about media and literature you should at least be drilling down to why it's good, comparing it to similar stories, things like that.
