I just don't really get how yall are seeing it as a strawman - it's just a random natural convo they were having and Vriska's response to it is not a rebuttal in any way, and she's clearly being the one real POS in the room. There's no reading I can imagine where they're supposed to come off as "oh my gosh.. these guys hate men.. how dare they!". Unless we are supposed to see these characters as all annoying terrible losers in their own right or something, which, maybe, I wouldn't be able to relate to a bunch of fortnighters, but I gather that playing liveservice games for middle schoolers is in fact a widely-practiced activity by other people my age, for some reason.
