@intermission - No, I think any explanations are still in the future! I kind of liked that, it had the same "I don't know what the hell is going here on but I like it" vibe I got from the original Midnight Crew intermission. The end of the Vast Error Intermission is actually the first time the trickster-god Mimesis appears in the whole comic.
