yay bug thread <3

my current fav is spondylis buprestoides, who is a protected species and part of the pre-ice-age fauna! I've only recently discovered it for myself because one of them landed on my garlic (which was supposed to ward off mosquitoes...oh well) so I've included the picture I took of it <33

my all time fav however is the european mantis...I've only had the chance to see it in the wild exactly once but I've been in love ever since!!
