Hello, I love bugs and other critters. They're so awesome, I might even say, joyous. Anyway, I am apart of one bug Homestuck server, so, I was just wondering if anyone in the rest of community also liked bugs? Below is my favorite insect.

Jerusalem crickets (Stenopelmatus fuscus) are personally, my favorite insects around. They are pretty large flightless insects, despite the name. They are not apart of the cricket genus. They can be found under rocks, and in more arid climates. They have an interesting and beautiful color scheme in my mind. They leave behind unique tracks due to their large abdomens. Speaking about those, when they want to attract a mate, they'll beat those drums against the floor, until they find one. Females usually consume the males after mating. They eat vegetables, fruits and live prey. They can be found in the climates of California, and as far south as Mexico. They have extremely large jaws, which can pierce human skin if they try hard enough. They're pretty docile and slow, more scared of you than anything. One thing I like, is if they get agitated. They will rub their back legs creating a hissing like noise.

There are more things I would like to say, but well, I am interested if anyone else here likes and or keeps bugs? Below is an image of a Jerusalem cricket. Thank you for reading.

I like long bugs with large wings, like cicadas or dragonflies.

Pelican spider obviously

I also like mantidflies because even though they're harmless they look like your worst nightmare as a bug

Local bumble bee my beloved. We've been slowly converting our lawn from grass to clover over the past year and finally this season we constantly had different kinds of solitary bees and bumble bees in our front and back yard. Other than local pollinators I've always been interested in large beetles, but the short life span (excluding larvae stage) has always put me off since it doesn't seem worth it unless you put the time into breeding them.
