It's exciting to be getting worldbuilding explained to us like this, this must be what it was like when hivebent was first coming out before people knew what the hemospectrum or quadrants were.

when i picture what a saytr would look like, i just imagined dirk with shaggy goat legs and horns. it would be pretty cool if they were full-on centaurs, though. the funniest option for what could happen (imo) is that saytrs just look like nymphs but bald, and nymphs are a parasitic headcrab-type species. i dont think this is whatll happen, but it would be in character for rose to design her species like that to jokingly spite dirk.

dirk says at one point that nymphs are aquatic and saytrs are terrestrial, so obviously therell be a divide between saytr parts of the world and nymph parts. i wonder how thatll come in to play. im really excited to learn more!
