I rate Moffat. The Matt Smith years are the part of modern Who I re-watch the most. I also think the Capaldi years are brilliant, but so grindingly bleak I can't quite face them. (I've got real life for that.) He also wrote so many of the standout stories from the first RTD era, like "Blink" and "Girl in the Fireplace".
