I thought I was so clever for figuring out that the table was Death's board game table (in particular it's where the characters play the Game of Life, which feels super thematically relevant to Candy cus it waz all about taking Ace Dick on a dubiously-relevant side quest where he got married, had kids etc. while the other characters actually pushed the plot forward), but I never picked up on the schema pumpkin at all!!
