That totally makes sense and I get that a character's mythological role is often a surprise, I'm just confused how we're supposed to think he's "obsessed with Hope" in particular when we probably didn't even know what Hope was when he first appeared... along similar lines, someone told me the other day that Dave's intro had red herrings about the Rage aspect. We didn't even know that "aspects" were a thing back when Dave was introduced!

But back to Ly'lac and the point of the thread, I do fully believe the Doomy stuff could be deliberately misleading. Having her be a Hero of Doom because she likes bombs and tends to accidentally kill things feels a lot to me like if Heroes of Breath were all obsessed with, like, pictures of lungs, and snorkels and scuba suits and shit... I think it's possible that Act 2 is deliberately spoofing common fanadventure tropes and that she'll be a Hero of Doom anyway. But I'm just not totally convinced!

Personally, the denizen Seth made me think Breath, since he's often thought to be the Ancient Egyptian counterpart to Typheus :)
