I do believe that butchness relies moreso on the masculine presentation than the attitude, hell, a quick search will bring up a dozen results parroting just so. While I concede that Jane is not quite there on her realisation, I believe she can get there, with time.

With regards to Meenah, I must second Arctic and Vriscourse: she does land more femme, even with the military wear posted by inversionpinchoff. The jewelry, the cat eye glasses, the makeup... it's not very practical, unlike the working-class wear of the traditional butch.
