jade is such a good character i love her dearly ,, her joy and whimsy is infectious, her introduction is one of my favorite parts of the entire webcomic (with the living situation that is so much more absurd than previous ones, her prophetic dreams and spontaneous naps that are explained later, the garden and the mansion and dead grandpa and god dog and her treating all that as if it isnt insane... because i mean its all shes ever known, of course it isnt going to be insane to her !! but it is rather comedic to the reader which makes for a really enjoyable read) it also never fails to amuse me how shes probably the most cheerful and well adjusted of the beta kids despite being raised on a remote island by her grandpas stuffed corpse and radioactive dog. but like. thats jade harley for you. her witch of space + bec powers are so fascinating to me, shes easily the most powerful human kid (maaaaybe after jake) with the first guardian powers obviously but witch of space is such a good classpect combo too. its like The ultimate creator. shes so iconic too in so many different ways, i have so much more i could say about her but i'd be here all day lol
