I love Jade Harley! She is the sweetest girl in world. I'm not liking the current direction the team is doing for Jade in Beyond Canon. I disagree a lot with what Miles and Haven say about Jade being an awful person.

Could it be... God?

jade is such a good character i love her dearly ,, her joy and whimsy is infectious, her introduction is one of my favorite parts of the entire webcomic (with the living situation that is so much more absurd than previous ones, her prophetic dreams and spontaneous naps that are explained later, the garden and the mansion and dead grandpa and god dog and her treating all that as if it isnt insane... because i mean its all shes ever known, of course it isnt going to be insane to her !! but it is rather comedic to the reader which makes for a really enjoyable read) it also never fails to amuse me how shes probably the most cheerful and well adjusted of the beta kids despite being raised on a remote island by her grandpas stuffed corpse and radioactive dog. but like. thats jade harley for you. her witch of space + bec powers are so fascinating to me, shes easily the most powerful human kid (maaaaybe after jake) with the first guardian powers obviously but witch of space is such a good classpect combo too. its like The ultimate creator. shes so iconic too in so many different ways, i have so much more i could say about her but i'd be here all day lol

I would say my appreciate for Jade Harley runs quite deep indeed. . .

OH ALSO her favorite colour is def green. im thinking like a medium to brightish green closer to blue than yellow

i LOVE how jade's evolved over time... it's so exciting it really feels like we get to see consequences to her having a crazy childhood. just sickos yes at the screen when her maladaptive behaviors present..........

How was she in the wrong for living on an island for so long without proper knowledge of social etiquette? Her grandfather died on an accident by her hands, which she would feel guilty for upon learning the truth from Tavros. And then she would be mind controlled by The Condesce. Worst in the meta-narrative sense, she didn't get as much character development compared to others like Dave and Rose.

@takofish she's not saying that Jade was in the wrong or anything, it's just that her childhood seems to have left her maladjusted and it's interesting to watch that play out.

But that means it wasn't her fault and she shouldn't be constantly punished or put in bad situations because she didn't live exactly a normal life compared to the others. The narrative in Epilogues/HS2/Beyond Canon shouldn't have events like the infidelity happen to her. She deserves to be happy and have a family.
