General community consensus seems to be that Hussie stopped liking Homestuck (the comic, not the fans) sometime around Hiveswap, and that the comic clearly gets spiteful towards the readers near the end. Sometimes I even hear she made post-retcon bad on purpose.
I felt like he was just trying new things with his characters (though they didn't always work for me) and didn't want to do the "finishing a quest heals your childhood trauma" thing. And now we know the epilogues left everyone in such a bad place cause they were prologues in disguise.
Is there some context I'm missing? Where did that idea start?
