I saw people saying that CC is probably male but now we learnt that Swiss and CT don't know that they are gonna play SHURB with nymphs. That's why they call CC in the chat he/him, they think that CC is satyr (and probably they think that AA and Ly'lac are satyrs too). Ly'lac was referring to CC by she/her because she knows that CC is her friend nymph.

theres also the matter of "cloisteredConnoisewer [CC] has unbanished themselves from #palehørse-darkgeniuses" on page 867 which on one hand could just be the chat client using they/them for everyone by default but then on page 893 we get "-- agamemnonsTheory [AT] set his vibe to HEATED! --" so like. personally i have no idea what to think their gender is. havent really thought about it. i dont think theyre a nymph though? based on this panel
MY MOIRAIL SuGGESTED PERHAPS THE SPECIES COuLD BE GENDER LOCKED. WITH SAYTRS BEING ALL BOYS AND NYMPHS BEING ALL GIRLS. JuDGING BY THE *ORB* PERHAPS IT IS BECAuSE CC IS A SAYTR, THEREFORE BEING AuTOMATICALLY A BOY?

the gender locked species idea is really cool. they could also use any pronouns, be genderfluid, plural, present differently to different people... i'm really interested to see where they take this.

I've been thinking about this a lot - the shape of their 'hair' does look nymph-like, but obviously the ears and the symbol give Satyr. Maybe this is a similar case to Calliope dressing up as a troll? In what 'direction' I'm not sure, but in this case that would have much more overtly gendered implications. If the Beyon Canon Sburb session has two nymph girls, three satyr boys, and one nonbinary/genderqueer/genderfluid character (of currently unknown species), I wonder if this implies that one of the Omega kids is going to come out as genderqueer as well to maintain the classic homestuck gender balance?
