im just considering like what sports each homestuck characters would play. so john is definitely cross country, because i feel like as a cross country runner myself it attracts the most middle of the road people like the ones who aren't football cool, but still want to do a sport. He probably would do long distance track in the spring. i dont think rose does anything. i know a rose-lalonde type person, like not as a friend so i dont what they do in their free time, but like her and the whole group doesn't participate in a single school activity like not even stuff like plays, but probably she [rose] would play band as a flute or percussionist. dave is a track sprinter definitely. its great for kids who think their cool because they don't need to be super arm-strong or strategic or literally know rules, and since it doesn't conflict with football season, he gets to hang out with other kids who he think is cool. (he probably also plays the trumpet but DOES NOT do choir) Considering jade, ill say either cross country or volleyball in the fall, might do academic team(i dont know if this is a universal term but its what my school calls like kind of a team quiz show almost) definitely in band ( probably percussion) choir and the play, and i may be overusing this one but also track, and probably a field event in track like pole vault (considering her whole introduction was as the quirky girl and like theres only like 6 pole vaulters including myself)
