Me personally, I’ve had a whole lot of fan comics on my backlog for a while now. I’m taking these comics being semi-officially endorsed as a sign for me to lock tf in and finally hop in on them.
So far, I’ve read Vast Error some of Homeslice, and some of Spicyyeti’s work. The next up for me personally is Kittyquest (I love Davepeta), autopraxis (I’ve heard very good things about it), Homeslice (may as well finish it) and Burning Down The House. I’ll likely read the rest too (particularly have my eyes of befriendus, and also the Strife Project) but those are my next priorities.
What about all of y’all? What are you gonna be checking out?
I really liked homeslice, I've read a good chunk of BDTH, and I've been meaning to get to kittyquest, heard it was good (our mspfa backlog is huuuuge)

i've read autopraxis, bdth, sburb.exe, and vast error! next up is probably loftlatched, it's been on my radar for ages but I've never given it a proper read. I'd also love to try out Tablestuck sometime

I've really only read a little of Autopraxis, although what I did read I REALLY enjoyed, so I've been meaning to catch up on it. Aside from that, BDTH and SBURB.exe are probably next on the list for me, and I definitely need to check out Liminal Space as it seems right up my alley.

I've read and am a big fan of BDTH, Loftlatched, Sburb.exe and Spicyyeti's works, and I am especially excited to check out Liminal Space and try Tablestuck! Everything on FRAF looks amazing though and I want to try to check out every single project <3

I'm a huge fan of Autopraxis (so awesome), and I like Sburb.exe and Vast Error as well. I'd like to check out Burning Down The House in the near future; it's been in my reading list for a while.

Personally out of all of them, Autopraxis is my favorite.
It feels like if you got psycholonials and homestuck and alchemized them together. From the designs to the characters to the much more mature themes at play while also keeping the absurdness of the original homestuck such as dominos.
10/10, excited to see where it goes from here.

reading autopraxis has been the closest experience to reading homestuck as it was happening that i've experienced as an adult, because robin and audrey and have an update schedule that is only slightly less insane than hussie's. i get genuinely excited checking for the new update, which is almost every day. it's really, really good, too. i love every single character. i think they're really good at crafting a world that feels very much like homestuck while also being it's own thing. also did you guys know adam is lord english? preeeeetty cool.
bdth is beautiful and big and sprawling, i have only read up to the end of act 1 act 2, which is like a fully playable game with a ddr minigame in it?? what??? victoria's work ethic is nuts, because she not only finds time to work on bdth and its side comic eternal september, and also vast error, and also these very forums??? and the next page of bdth is ANOTHER fully playable game with something only victoria, because she's a true, honest to god miracle worker: she's getting me to care about dancestors.
carmi is a genius. godhead is utilizing webpages as an art medium like nothing else, it is probably most effective hypertext webcomic there is. it is SUCH A SHAME that more people are not reading it. also his HS works rock cock, obviously. i could probably cite y12k as rekindling my interest in homestuck. king of the yaois. i have cute little naked davekats he drew up on my wall.
y'all know vast error. its vasty and errory. i think austin + heather + the whole gang are critical to the homestuck renaissance that started way back in 2019. the shape of homestuck works now have been influenced so much what they were doing then!!! it's good, but you know this already. now here's a real brainteaser for you: in the plot of monkeybone - the monkey character that brendan fraser made takes over his body and then sleeps with his wife. is that being cucked? cuz like that's someone else in your body, but the someone else is a monkey character you made. much to ponder.
liminal space is.... hold on. i'm sorry. while i was writing this i got distracted rereading jade strider. firstly floral is just like, crazy at layouts. like i get exactly the timing she's going for, my eye is moving so nicely around the page. "Oh! No, not this Jade." OHHH my god. ok sorry i was reading again. the imagery. of course, floral is a very talented writer. she really gets what makes the character tick deep, deep down, in the very core of their being. like the scared little animal part of your brain that makes you act crazy and stupid out of self preservation, y'know? oh my god "I'm alive!" FUCK. ok. wait "If someone chooses to stay [...]" ok one last thing - i am also struck by like, how funny the backgrounds in liminal space are. everyone lives in crazy houses. ok wait the color section of part 4 is genuinely making me cry a little bit.
