Hello all, if I’m right then the forum dropped yesterday (Atleast for me) and I made my account. I found myself instantly gravitated towards this specific section because it’s two of my favorite things ever, ttrpgs and homestuck!
While sitting at my boring night shift labor job, I had a thought… What if I did what those redditors do except here and once a week so the thread stays fresh. So here I am, typing this out at work on my little phone as fast as I can.
The rules are simple:
Detail if you’re playing tablestuck (and maybe other ttrpgs if the mods allow it) as a player or a dm, list your experience with ttrpgs if you have any, your time zone and availability, the easiest way to get in contact with you, and maybe a brief introduction of yourself and the character you’d like to play!
Fingers crossed that this is something that can actually be done here and is not very against the rules. If not, then this and any future threads may be used as a hub for teaching (especially myself, I looked at the player document like an sniveling infant) and playing tablestuck!

My name is Doni (you will learn my real name if we get acquainted!) and I have about over a year of ttrpg experience , mainly with pathfinder 1E. I am currently in 2 different ongoing campaigns but that shouldn’t matter with my schedule.
My timezone is central standard time and I am available from 6 pm to 12 am everyday except Wednesday and Saturday. I do have a big thing going on later this month (specifically between the 16th and the 25th) so I might not be available as I’d like to be unfortunately.
I’d like some assistance with understanding the system as a player and character creation because as stated prior I got a little overwhelmed.
I am familiar with map software like roll20 and I am willing to learn other softwares if need be.

I’m mainly looking to make a Page of Doom Dersite character that may or may not be a self insert.
A few things that I look forward to the most is both combat and to, I love making physically strong characters that are mentally weak.

Also just so it’s clear, the hope with this and potential future threads is to keep all the LFG posts in one contained spot to save space for genuine game talk and discussion/questions, I feel like it would be smart to get this set up early to reduce a potential torrent of LFG posts!

i'm alex! i am. completely unexperienced with ttrpg. strong start, i know, but i have always thought tablestuck has been cool but i just don't have the right amount of friends to play it with. not to mention i am really struggling to fully wrap my head around how it all works, but i'll keep re-reading the guidebooks over and over in hopes something will finally click. but i really like homestuck!!! i just finished a re-read of it all (homestuck, epilogues, hs^2/hsbc) not too long ago.
i'm in EST time, and i am available pretty much...whenever? i don't really have anything super clamping down hard on my schedule. my discord is aj.the.fool, and as for character/gameplay stuff...i'm pretty much good with whatever!! just getting to play at all is awesome enough. i am a malleable form able to fit whatever needs are required for a session, hopefully. that's all i got. :-)
