I found a story called Treadbound. I'm not sure if it's a Homestuck-style work or not, but the core concept makes me think it is.
"Four teenagers gain early access to a forbidden software called LATTICE. The program looks like an old-school internet ARG, but it begins to rewrite reality. LATTICE isn't about saving the world; it's an archaeological machine excavating discarded versions of reality".
I don't remember where i found it, but i searched the FRAF forum for it and did not find it here. If the author of Treadbound is here in the forums, I would like you to know that the English translation of the story is missing. The PDF on the EN page is in Portuguese.
