hey everyone! it's me, kevin, who you may know from making that really long newspost earlier. i also had the honor of storyboarding and directing the flash you saw earlier, "[S] Join the party!"
i wanted to take a moment to shoutout the amazing artists and animators that helped make this thing: audrey (of autopraxis fame, which you should read right this goddamn second), and mansta (you already know) are goddamn titans of animation. they slipped in so many tiny jokes and easter eggs that we figured would only be funny to us, but here we are!
agreed, truly fantastic work on this you guys.
... as the ancient hawaiians used to say.
furthermore, every single fraf project collaborated on this, giving us flash files to work in, and assets to animate! it was a long, fun collaborative process to bring this baby to life, and it certainly worked out great. (special mention goes to strife project, which was gutsy enough to fully program in a god tier john just for the gameplay footage of him getting the shit beat out of him by dave).
furthermore, docscribblez is a goddamn wunderkind and drew this finale image. i'm going to post it here, on its own, because it deserves to be seen by everyone. it's so damn coooooooooool.
That was super cool, i liked it a ton!
Also, great to have a flash that utilizes Lordling.
clownin.
The animation was fantastic! I'm glad you all have the resources to do this type of stuff for the community. It's amazing to see.
@jebb: thank you so much! lordling and lyricist are one of my favorite song pairings from cherubim. my only regret is not getting a chance to use more of the latter.
@doc chidori: thank you x2! this community is so damn good at animation, and comedy, and dramatics, and i think this forum might be a damn good place to share tips on how to make flashes like this, because we certainly learned a lot doing it!
hello!!! I really liked the [s]!! also hilarious signature.
