Hello everyone! This is my first time posting on the forums, so I'm not aware of all the etiquette, sorry.
I'm currently working on writing a research paper on Homestuck, focusing on its portrayal of Imperialism (to somewhat compare to the science fiction trope of the Empire in general), with a bit of a focus on eugenics and disability studies.
Having read Homestuck, it becomes clear that you cannot engage with the text whilst divorcing it from discussions of Imperialism, because the Alternian chapters are full of them.
I'd love it if anyone who reads this and has the time could share their views on how Homestuck (and its related media) shaped their views on imperialism! Anything at all would work, and it would be super helpful. Thank you!
