It has been kind of hard to pick up but honestly if I can manage Soulslikes I can manage this. I'll get there eventually.

I’ve done like 2.5/3 of the main campaign (unless you count succumbing a valid Hunter ending) and I’ve been slowly crawling through the first dlc starting with gourmand.
I dont quite have access to my usual setup (for reasons Im fine with talking about but does tend to bring the Mood down) so I haven’t really been able to Play lately. so it goes
i only really play arena + sandbox even though i have downpour + watcher. will i be burned at the stake for this. it's for a good reason i promise
omg yes rainworld.. i loved downpour but i didnt even bother to finish the latest dlc yet cause i heard it wasnt finished?? idk if thats true, but regardless i didnt really like the watcher
OMG RAINWORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have like 200 hours and ive completed every campaign including watcher-chan (not the prince route though i got um. i didn't feel like it) and i've been drawing iterators so much recently on jspaint you can see some on my blog.
i was thinking about making troll scugs recently and figuring out what kind of sick flips they would have... i guess i'll make a post >:)

For me the watcher was mixed for me it felt like more of the base game showcase kinda gameplay and the watcher is completed I think but I had fun playing it was just a very different gameplay experience I don't think this should of been a full dlc expansion cuz we don't even have arenas and stuff for the new creatures is my problem
TROLL SLUGCAT AU IDEAS
Aradia Megido: can float slowly with a held button, much higher chance to resist death bites.
Tavros Nitram: definitely like monk where everything is more docile- to make this an ability it will work on even red lizards with a buttonpress. i think his campaign would be really hard mode to show that off (like how outskirts is in arti and spearmy with the two redzards except the whole everywhere)
Sollux Captor: any grappled or grappling creature gets zapped. he can also doublejump by psychically grabbing and then sending himself in a direction.
Karkat Vantas: starts with negative 40 rep for everything and work yourself up to everybody giving you kisses and gifts?
Nepeta Leijon: she has maul, without stunning first. and is a carnivore. start the game with Pounce tamed and following you and get them to somewhere else.
Kanaya Maryam: carnivore? or maybe she has a feeding mechanic like spearmy.
Terezi Pyrope: carnivore, unique food pip system with different colors. has to get some food of like half or more the colors per cycle.
Vriska Serket: unique game mode where you kill things and toss them in a hole. otherwise, she can proc her ult and make everything on a screen fall asleep.
Equius Zahhak: 4 damage spears but he can only carry them for 6 seconds before they break. rolls deflect spears like gourmy. he's an obligate vegetarian.
Gamzee Makara: harvest potions from creatures for gameplay effects
Eridan Ampora: water breathing and affinity with sea critters. landbeasts want him dead very bad. obligate carnivore with huge amount of pips- has to kill a lot of animals.
Feferi Peixes: leviathans are actively friendly with her. water breathing. omnivore but eating squidcadas makes her shake and cry

yeah i definitely had a bit of a problem with how little interconnectivity the watcher campaign had- i didn't feel like the creatures were in an ecosystem together, just that they were there to help me play my video game. i think it's fair that the locations were so disparate gameplay wise but i don't know how to reconcile it with the lore. like ok whats going on. i did like the hide and seek i thought it was really cute... we did NOTTTTTTT NEED lore about the ancients though. much less a size comparison.
