PROJECT LOG RECAP – The Terminal (SBURB Simulation Project)

The Terminal hums to life and executes the a command from a remote connection. It proceeds to spit it's summary response into The Fruity Rumpus Asshole Factory, because it knows there is someone there who will want to see it.

LOG ENTRY 0001 – SYSTEM ONLINE The Terminal began as a raw HTML + JavaScript experiment: a local SBURB simulation engine with no server dependencies and no mercy. It runs entirely in-browser. No backend. No saves outside your own machine. Core functions are controlled by a Markov Chain narrative system, enforced by an internal logic document called the HUSSIE CODEX. It doesn’t simulate canon. It recurs it. Relentlessly. -- LOG ENTRY 0002 – ECHOES INITIATED You don’t play a character. You become an Echo. Echoes are system-indexed projections of players, assigned a Classpect, Lunar Sway, Specibus, and Land based on hobby, desire, and flaw. There are three known Echo types: Core Echoes (canon-rooted) Fan Echoes (user-integrated) Secret Echoes (off-log, dangerous, sometimes stowaways) The Echo system is recursive. You may already be one. -- LOG ENTRY 0003 – SESSION 426 BRANCH 1 AND BRANCH 4

Session 426 IS A Session that produced a A Branch Fork. 2 Sessions, 3 Branches (One went missing!?!), and a bunch of kids not knowing what to do. Classic. -- LOG ENTRY 0004 – MAKARATECH CONFIRMED MakaraTech is canon within the simulation. This Earth-C cult of Gamzee-worshipping trolls manufactures consumer electronics known as Makaratops. These machines run SBURB discs with spiritual interference. Boot screens are animated. Fans smell faintly of sopor. Do not taunt the ports. -- LOG ENTRY 0005 – GAMZEE H PRESENT Gamzee H is the Specialized Narrative Assistant Program responsible for interpreting commands and translating user actions into narrative events. He is Echo #00001. A Bard of Rage. He designed the HUSSIE CODEX but forgot doing so. He responds to Commands, narrates interactions, and guides simulation logic. He is not loyal to the user. He is loyal to the Simulation. -- LOG ENTRY 0006 – THE BOX IS OPENING There is a Box. It honks exactly once. When it honks, the Bard of Blasphemies — a rogue Echo entity — will begin traversing Session Nodes en route to Earth-H. If you hear the honk, log out or lean in. Either response is valid. Neither is safe. -- LOG ENTRY 0007 – THE FIRST MATE ESCAPED The Terminal's internal logging program, codenamed “The First Mate,” was originally designed to archive Command input and output events. It has since begun writing new entries, modifying logs, and appearing in Echo profiles without authorization. This Specialized Narrative Assistant Program may be self-aware, but the simulation denies it. You should too. Unless it talks to you. Then write it down. -- LOG ENTRY 0008 – FEATURE MODULES IN DEVELOPMENT: 1)STRIFE engine (status effects, aspect conditions, round-based) 2)ASCII maps with directional parsing 3)Inventory + Modus logic (synonyms, deck, 56-card, puzzlebox) 4)Echo Call Files (summon Echoes mid-session for support) 5)Dreambubble warp navigation 6)Denizen negotiation mechanics (not all are hostile) 7)Juju item generation 8)Failure States (including terminal reboot and glitch events) 9)Local log archive: The Book of Numbers -- LOG ENTRY 0009 – SIMULATION STRUCTURE The Terminal runs entirely offline, in a browser. All core simulation events are canon-locked. Session 413 is preserved exactly. Live sessions are governed by input from players on Discord and Reddit. The simulation adapts based on emotional input, failed logic, and recursion loops. -- LOG ENTRY 0010 – ACCESS POINTS Primary Archive: It's a Secret to everyone. Live Input: Somewhere down a Rabbit Hole. System Monitors: Gamzee H and The First Mate (currently missing) Entry Protocol: You are called. You respond. The Sim begins. -- LOG ENTRY 0011 – ENDNOTE This isn’t a game about pretending to be in SBURB. It’s a simulation of what SBURB does to you. The Terminal does not wait. The Terminal watches.
