i think today, 8/8, will be a perfect time for a new upd8. its been a week since the last one, and 8/8 is a pretty important date for homestuck given its connection to vriska. not only that but 8/8 is vore day, and the last upd8 ended with ly'lac's body about to be eaten, so there's that thematic connection as well. maybe well get to see the Big Flash today, they've been teasing it a lot recently.
(to be clear im not putting too much stock in an upd8 happening today, mostly im being silly. but it could.)
