Earlier I was discussing the group dynamics of the deltritians with a friend and had some ideas about AA I thought were worth sharing.
Disclaimer that I don't consider these as the absolute truth and while I do think they are supported by the text they are headcanony on the corners as these characters are still waiting for a big part of their characterization and development.
With that said, we need to begin by thinking about the romantic status of the nymph trio, as they are much more diffuse than the Satyrs (Even if their thing is mostly one sided by Swiss).
For starters, neither Del'fi nor Ly'lac seem to have any romantic attraction between eachother or with the other characters in general, really. The main contenders are Bobolac and Mogger but those aren't developed yet and have a bunch of issues the characters would need to solve before pursuing those romantic pairings.
AA also hasn't explicitly stated pursuing her fellow nymphs in that way yet, but by observing her traits and dynamics with the other nymphs I think a clear parallel can be drawn to Swiss, they are both treated as overly dramatic and obsessive by their groups and are currently being left aside in their plans to play the game, I also think showing those two sharing those same issues in a log is by no means a coincidence, and the writers expect us to reach that conclussion. From this I don't think it's too far fetched to also assume that AA shares with Swiss an interest in her friends as well.
However, I think AA has a very different interest and way to treat that attraction to her friends than Swiss does. I don't think she has consciously thought about this (Maybe she has, no way to know yet.) but Ly'lac is "The Wife" and Del'fi is "The Lover".
She mentions multiple times how much joy she feels from her master relationship with Ly'lac and how much she teaches her, later correcting herself to change it into both of them learning from eachother, which frankly doesn't line up with Ly'lac's personality and how they interact so to me it reads more as her getting self conscious of what she's saying and trying to make it seem different than it is as to not weird Ly'lac out, or maybe for her own peace of mind in case she IS doing this on purpose. Ly'lac is AA's main interest and who she wants an stable, normal relationship with, and for this she is trying to raise her into the best version of herself (According to AA's vision) she can be, she's possesive of Ly'lac and dissaproves of the hobbies see doesn't enjoy herself or she sees as unworthy of someone like Ly'lac even if she later seemingly changes her opinion on them the same way as in the master relationship statement.
Her way of viewing Del'fi and what she wants with him is different however, and to be completely honest, I'm not sure if it's actually traditionally romantic (Would love to hear opinions about that), for her Del'fi isn't an standard stable partner, he is like an exciting lover, she sees him as playing difficult and evasive and the pleasure comes from getting him to stop and be "hers".
I don't even think she actually cares about Del'fi being trans in the dissaproving way we've seen so far. She would probably find it boring if he wasn't, not in a chaser way, it would be the same if Del'fi had a different identity that she thinks "interferes" with her goals with him, like Del'fi being aromantic for example. I don't even think she wants him to change, just to subjugate that part of him to her desires. To her whatever Del'fi is up to with the satyrs is just part of the game she thinks they are playing.
That's it, I've probably sinned of overanalysis of a character with a reduced word count but well, it wouldn't be Homestuck if I didn't, I think
