my one issue with collide

so i just finished collide, and i thought it was really good. however, i have 1 problem, spades slick. spades slick as a character was completely ignored just to make the fight cooler. spades slick was allied with karkat and hates english as much as the kids. if he had just been sent out to the furthest ring to negotiate terms instead of doing nothing with echidna, than it wouldve been a 4v1 and dirk probably wouldnt have to die. i would even be fine if he still died, but not as the antagonist they just randomly made him.
