I've got a fanspecies that go by the name of Dwergari, but are more commonly referred to as dwarves.
They're short folk with stony horns, horizontal pupils, long tails, and blue blood. They eat minerals and live inside of fortresses, and they use "kinetics" as opposed to anything like psionics or magic. Essentially, their horns grant them properties such as magnetokinesis, electrokinesis, thermokinesis, or umbrakinesis, depending on the kind of dwarf they are.
This isn't necessarily the thread I talk about dwarfkind, but I did want to show off my main OC of this fanspecies of mine!
Ok, so dwarves ARE meant to have two whole horns, but mine was born with a broken horn. It's an actual thing in their world with a name; Snaphorn. Those born with snaphorn are wired a little differently but are perfectly acceptable individuals in the world. It's basically dwarf autism, reflecting my own neurodivergency lol.
Capizza is an artificer, which is a fairly common job in their world, working with mythical elements such as the Saintly Flame (an eternally burning purple flame) to power gadgets they build. They also build computer-like devices using Skevlar Crystals, which connect to their planet's moon remotely like a global server, basically allowing them crystal-based internet access.
Capizza has a handful of hobbies, such as drawing, writing, all that jazz, and they're a pretty big fan of the niche hobby of crafting remote controlled minifigures to use in table-top RPGs.
I eventually plan to someday make an adventure about the dwarf world, but for now, here's just a character I made which I love very much. I think every fanspecies creator should try to make a sona of their own species.
