its gotta happen eventually and im so excited to see what their reactions will be. i think dave will think shes the coolest kid ever and i can see them having a really fun dynamic, but theres also a lot of baggage there, and i can anticipate it being extra hard for jade. (i'm also very curious as to how much jade knows about the other timelines due to al's influence + possible ultimate self stuff). jade already feels things very intensely, and i cant imagine she'd take it very well being confronted with her alternate timeline's self actions and the repercussions they had on rose and kanaya's relationship in candy whennn... theyre in their current state of being separated. and kanaya who was empathetic to a degree but still understandably very upset with rose in candy - i feel like meat kanaya might take it out more on herself for not supporting rose well enough more than anything.
theres a lot of fun potential w/ all of these future interactions and im very excited to see where they go & it'll be great having the kids now in a mentorship role, but these four especially have me the most intrigued. im also v excited just to see the meat ship crew again and to find out whats been going on for them. i wanna hear ppls thoughts!
